About the role

The Quality Analyst will support mechanical manufacturing and assembly integration and testing for aerospace and defense manufacturing. This role involves analyzing program QA requirements, generating ballooned drawings and AS9102 Inspection forms from SolidWorks inspection, finalizing source inspection checklists as needed, and completing end item data packs for machined hardware. Additional duties include working with DCMA and other government quality assurance agencies, and collecting and reporting Quality Metrics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze program QA requirements
• Generate ballooned drawings and AS9102 Inspection forms from SolidWorks inspection
• Finalize source inspection checklists as needed
• Complete end item data packs for machined hardware
• Work with DCMA and other government quality assurance agencies
• Collect and report Quality Metrics
• Work with non-conforming material, identify root cause, and implement corrective action
• Write work instructions, procedures, and implement QMS documentation associated with AS9100
• Prepare AS9102 FAI’s and PPAP documentation
• Perform in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control
• Experience working with non-conforming material and identifying root cause and implementing corrective action
• Experience writing work instructions, procedures, and implementing QMS documentation associated with AS9100
• Experience preparing AS9102 FAI’s and PPAP documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, & Outlook)
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to the area
• US Citizen and possess (or be able to obtain) a Final Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with various Windows applications
• Experience with PowerBi
• Experience with GD&T Blue Print Reading
• Experience working with CMMs and manual measuring instruments
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Experience with CNC Machining

Pay

Pay Range: $40,300.00 - $72,850.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
