About the role
This is an Onsite position in Richmond, VA. You must be able to work onsite from day One of the contract.
Responsibilities
- Research business and user needs and identify root causes of problems.
- Document business requirements and recommend system modifications.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans based on requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects.
- Perform root-cause analysis when appropriate.
- Determine which test cases are suitable for automation.
- Maintain automated test scripts.
- At the QA3 level, develop and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Java, and TypeScript.
- Work closely with business users and IT teams.
- Support multiple project assignments at QA2/QA3 levels.
- Align technology solutions with business needs and strategies at the senior level.
- Guide less-experienced Business Systems Analysts at QA3.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with HTML, XML, Java, and TypeScript, along with familiarity with React or Next.js.
- A bachelor's degree is expected, preferably in Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics, although approximately four years of related progressive experience may substitute for the degree.
