Qualified Professional / Group Home Manager
About the role
The Residential team is seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QP) to lead a team of caregivers as the Residential Group Home Manager. The home is located in a lovely neighborhood in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and oversight of services for the residents of the home.
- Participate in the provision and development of structured care plans to individuals.
- Hire, train, and develop direct support staff.
- Supervise and monitor direct support staff and individuals served.
- Ensure quality services that support individuals' health, safety, and welfare.
- Collaborate with families and external entities.
- Adhere to policies, manage attendance, and complete required training.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and techniques as well as their practical application in a group home setting.
- Able to work independently and adept at problem-solving and de-escalation in times of crisis.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an approved accredited institution in a Human Services program.
- NC mental health qualified professional certification.
- Valid driver's license, a good driving record, and current auto insurance.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a team in a residential setting.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to disability and mental health services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with flexibility to accommodate for house and resident needs.
