QMS Engineer
What to Expect
Gotion is seeking a dynamic QMS Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring high quality in production process and output. They are responsible for ensuring control plan implementation, conducting conformance checks, analyzing quality data and driving continuous improvement. Through cross-functional collaboration, they identify and resolve issues in the quality management system, ensuring plant operations meet Gotion's standards and customer requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Build a QMS system architecture based on the organizational structure.
- Establish quality system documents (including quality manual) based on factory requirements and company background, responsible for organizing the related functions for the procedure document cross checking and sign-off, keep running.
- Organize internal quality system audits and management reviews, coordinating with third-party training and certification agency, organizing certification documents submission, and in charge of certification audits until certificate release.
- Identify trends and potential issues and propose preventive measures to reduce risks.
- Organize root cause analysis of quality issues, promote and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures.
- Develop standard inspection guidelines.
- Maintain clear records of all quality activities, including quality reports, audit records, and corrective measures.
- Track industry best practices and quality standards and promote factory quality systems and process optimization.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering in manufacturing industry, with priority given to those with experience in battery or automotive battery industry. Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Build a QMS system architecture based on the organizational structure. - Proficient in quality tools, especially in APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA. Better if familiar with VDA6.3
Pay
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000- $120,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. Actual compensation within the range will be influenced by the specific work location, along with factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
