About the role

The Med Tech Caregiver at Modena Cherry Creek PT is responsible for administering medications and treatments, measuring vital signs and weight, and performing other health services tasks. They work closely with home health, hospice, and emergency protocols and act as the facility supervisor when management staff are not present. The caregiver supervises resident assistants to ensure daily completion of their duties.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments
• Measures vital signs and weight
• Collections, stores, and assures transport of certain specimens for laboratory studies
• Adheres to all medication room systems per policy
• Works for sustained periods maintaining concentration on safety, detail, and accuracy
• Shows sincere compassion towards older adults
• Displays a high level of personal integrity

Requirements

• Required to receive the annual Flu vaccine, excluding religious or medical exemptions
• Ability to regularly walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop or sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise, move objects/people weighing more than 50lbs
• Physical demands include demonstrating genuine concern for the physical and emotional needs of older people and their families
