QC Supervisor/Inspector

About the Role

This position involves supervising and scheduling the department based on workload requirements, ensuring timely processing of various jobs, and maintaining oversight to meet production goals. It also includes setting up and using inspection equipment for in-process and final inspections, as well as interpreting blueprints and design sketches to verify product dimensions and tolerance levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule department staff based on workload demands.

• Use blueprints and design sketches to verify proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished products.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed.

• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• A certain degree of creativity is required.
