QC Supervisor

Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with Quality Manager to identify quality issues and help ensure the highest quality product.
• Work professionally with area leads, production personnel, weld technicians (including robots), and all others to report, address, and document quality issues and concerns.
• Read and understand production details and spool sheets.
• Attend any training or meetings that will help in job functions (roles and responsibilities).
• Aid in training new and existing employees and help them grow in their positions.
• Assist QC inspectors in managing and maintaining production flow.
• Document review, control and improvement as it pertains to the floor sheets and QC manual.
• Help improve designing efficient details and design improvements.
• Create a positive, respectful, and productive team atmosphere.
• Participate in QC leadership training and functions.
• Help QC Manager and inspectors maintain and provide a clean and organized work environment.
• Dress appropriately for the job you are hired for. (Including all safety requirements when you are on the shop floor).
• Actively promote a safe work environment throughout the shop.
• Able to operate Microsoft suite products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook programs, etc.
• Basic dashboarding and data analysis and AI fluency a plus.
• Assist in managing the Corrective Action / Preventive Action system.
• Aid in administration of ACC Build.
• Maintain and update the QC manual as changes are made. (Including forms, document changes, and any verbiage that needs changed).
• This includes IAPMO and ICC reports.
• Work with 3rd party inspectors when they are required at the shop.
• Work with city and county representatives of 3rd party auditing companies.
• Absorb and prepare for all audits of the shop and of the QC manual.
• Work closely with QC Manger to keep him/her informed of all changes and updates that happen throughout the day.

This is a salaried position and part of the QC leadership team.
