Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspection/audit of raw materials and/or 3rd party products
- Work with Materials Management on continuously improving incoming quality parts/systems from suppliers
- Reduce dependency on 100% detailed incoming inspections by driving quality upstream through routine audits
- Perform audits of outgoing products/shipments to improve shipping quality
- Schedule and maintain records supporting calibration of equipment in the facility to meet QMS requirements
- Ensure equipment is in calibration at all times by working directly with Manufacturing Management
- Create, monitor, and follow up with SCAR’s and CAPA’s for suppliers, shipping quality findings, and in-process audits per the QMS system
- Demonstrate strong leadership by driving consistent use of established Quality and QMS procedures for compliance, efficiency, and accountability
- Manage Optical Dispositioning of material in and out of MRB areas daily
- Track and follow through with resolution of RMA’s, maintaining monthly records with CAPA’s as required
- Work directly with Manufacturing Management on implementation of SPC in the manufacturing process
- Produce monthly metrics for NCMR’s, RMA’s, quality process audits, shipping audits, SCAR’s & CAPA’s, and others as directed by the Quality Manager
- Maintain 6S in work area
- Complete tasks in a timely manner
- Complete required ERP/computer transactions and reports

- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage tasks efficiently
Requirements
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to analyze possible solutions for recurring problems and communicate issues with appropriate personnel
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
