About the role

BSNSPORTS, a Varsity Brands Company, is the recognized leader in team athletic gear. As an Onsite Warehouse Associate, you'll play a crucial part in supporting the Heart of the Game by ensuring products are stocked, selected, packed, and shipped to customers.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming materials and compares information on work orders to verify accuracy.
• Inspect shipments for damage or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor.
• Ensures correct boxes are used, as per customer specifications.
• Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments, initiating proof of delivery documents.
• May operate dolly, pallet jack, and shrink wrap machine.
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of their work area during production and at each shift end.
• Reads and comprehends documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
• Communicates effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Participates in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.

Qualifications

• 2 years in-depth SAP experience.
• Learning tasks quickly is detailed, accurately driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
• Strong time management and attention to timelines.
• HS Diploma or GED (required).
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.
• The ability to speak and read work orders and instructions in English.
• The ability to differentiate and coordinate colors.
• An eye for accuracy to catch irregularities ensuring that we only send out the best product.
• A reliable team member that employees can count on every day to be punctual.
• Operational, Warehouse, Logistics or comparable experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive body movements, required to stand for long periods of time.
• Lifting of no less than 15-50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
