QC/Pack/Ship, 2nd Shift

About the role

BSN Sports is looking to hire a Quality Control, Pack, Shipping Warehouse Associate to ensure products are stocked, selected, packed, and shipped to customers. You’ll work in one of the following roles: Picking, Packing, Shipping, or Inventory.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.
• Pull orders from locations and ensure orders are complete and accurate.
• Stage orders correctly at shipping stations.
• Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Ensure warehouse goals are met and maintain a high level of health and safety standards.
• Shrink wrap products to pallets and load delivery vehicles.
• Pack warehouse orders as necessary and operate scanners to ensure the proper order is picked.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of Quality experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Moderate understanding of quality control standards and techniques.
• 2 years of in-depth SAP experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
• Strong time management and attention to timelines.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience in Microsoft Excel.
• Operational, Warehouse, Logistics, or comparable experience preferred.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 2pm – 10pm (Full Time).
• Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary.
• Extra hours may be added to ensure customer commitments are fulfilled.
• Peak Season (July-December) may require mandatory overtime, including some weekends.

Pay

Base Pay: $18.80 per hour.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
