About the role

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) role at Hensel Phelps Services is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Quality Compliance program. This role ensures that all service operations, facility management programs, and technical maintenance activities meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Quality Compliance program
  • Monitor adherence to company standards, client requirements, and regulatory obligations
  • Lead compliance initiatives, conduct audits, and partner with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and consistency across all Service operations
  • Coordinate with third-party auditors, regulators, and clients on quality and compliance-related matters
  • Provide training, guidance, and coaching to managers and staff on compliance requirements and quality standards
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reports to leadership on compliance performance, risk, areas, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with Regional Directors, Site Managers, and technical staff to establish quality and compliance goals, monitor progress, and resolve deficiencies
  • Supervise and train other technicians

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5–10 years of industry experience in a Quality Control role
  • At least 1 year of experience in services, construction, maintenance, or operations contracts
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively interact with trades, peers, supervisors, and customers
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team in a mobile work environment
  • Working knowledge of facilities operations and building systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess a RCDD, CCNA, CCDA, RTPM certification or combination thereof

Essential Duties

  • Conduct regular audits of service delivery, facility operations, and technical maintenance programs to ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead compliance and quality review meetings, producing actionable outcomes for continuous improvement
  • Review compliance data, reports, and corrective action plans; ensure timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Maintain and update compliance logs, audit findings, and corrective actions in alignment with company standards
