About us

We provide stand-alone structural steel fabrication for new design-specific multi-story buildings, seismic upgrades and retrofits to existing structures, and miscellaneous metals applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the quality control process to ensure the highest level of performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Review and interpret structural drawings and specifications to ensure the accurate execution of engineering projects.
  • Conduct regular welding inspections, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards and compliance with AISC regulations.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols, providing training and guidance to the engineering team as necessary.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that quality control measures are incorporated throughout all stages of project development and execution.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and changes in regulations, ensuring that the company’s quality control processes remain current and effective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality control management within the engineering industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in reviewing and interpreting structural drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in conducting welding inspections and ensuring compliance with AISC standards.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and direct the work of others.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
