QC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform dimensional inspections on intricate and close tolerance components using state of the art inspection equipment.
• Interface with shop floor personnel, manufacturing supervision, and management.
• Inspect close tolerance components manufactured by Tube-Alloy machine shop and other sub-contracted machine shops.
• Use state of the art inspection equipment such as internal and external micrometers.
• Pass all HSE required training.
• Assist with non-destructive evaluation (NDE) part cleaning and preparation.
• Assist inspectors with re-gauging of parts.
• Maintain all quality control (QC) inspection equipment.
• Perform visual inspection of threaded connections as required.
• Perform receiving inspection on raw material, subcontracted parts, seal rings, and customer material.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A High School Degree or GED.
• Education requirements may be satisfied through alternative education and/or previous job experience.
• Familiarity with parts manufactured by turning, milling, boring, drilling, etc.
• Experience with state of the art inspection equipment.
• A conscientious worker and self-starter with good communication skills.
