QC Inspector

About the role

Position Summary: Performs inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assists Supplier Quality Engineering with technical inspection support. Location: 4 Robbins Road, Westford, MA 01886. Duration: 6 months. Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures.
• Records inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures.
• Operates all associated test and measurement equipment as instructed and documented in procedures.
• Supports validation and qualification activities.
• Develops and recommends changes to inspection procedures.
• Demonstrates proficiency in SAP with respect to incoming material QC requirements.
• Recommends changes to policies, procedures, and inspection requirements.
• Collects and analyzes data for First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Performs testing and inspection in accordance with special test requests.
• Contributes to test and measurement equipment selection.
• Interfaces with suppliers as required in support of material quality and technical inspection.
• May train other inspection staff on the use of equipment.
• Assists in gathering, analyzing, and trending data.
• Performs miscellaneous duties and work assignments as required.

Requirements

• Quality Control (QC) inspection experience.
• Visual, dimensional, and functional inspection knowledge.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment.
• SAP proficiency, particularly related to incoming material quality requirements.
• Data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures and documentation requirements.
• Eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship.

Pay

$17 - $19 per hour (W2)

Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
