QC Analytical Chemist

About the role

We're looking for someone to support routine lab testing and help maintain a well-organized QC environment. This role involves working with various instruments, preparing samples, and following established procedures. A great fit would be someone detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine testing of pharmaceutical samples by following analytical compendial methods (pH, osmolality, concentration, break-loose extrusion force, etc.)
  • Prepare standards and samples for analysis
  • Monitor and replenish lab reagents and solutions
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate instrumentation in the QC laboratory
  • Document work as required for GMP compliance
  • Execute work in accordance with standard operating procedures, with attention to detail, and with strong organizational skills
  • Interact effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other science-related degree concentration
  • 1-2 years of QC analytical experience
  • OR Master's Degree in chemistry or other science-related degree concentration
  • 0-1 years of QC analytical experience
  • GMP Experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures to generate reproducible data in a controlled laboratory environment
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, data analysis software, and other related applications
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Schedule

The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed.

Pay

Hourly rate is between $27-30, depending on education and experience.
