QC Analytical Chemist

Contract to Hire position based in Verona, WI.

About the role

Test finished products before they are sent to clients. Perform wet chemistry testing including pH, IR, moisture, and ID tests. Future work will include HPLC and GC. Quicker to train in than other teams at CPI.

Cross-train with the Raw Materials team: test incoming materials (USP and EP) and perform wet chemistry testing such as pH, IR, moisture, and ID tests. Work on documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test finished products using wet chemistry methods (pH, IR, moisture, ID).
• Prepare for future HPLC and GC work.
• Cross-train with the Raw Materials team to test incoming materials (USP and EP).
• Perform wet chemistry testing on raw materials (pH, IR, moisture, ID).
• Work on documentation related to testing processes.

Requirements

• B.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a related life science field.
• Undergraduate research experience or summer internship experience.
• Initiative taken outside of class (preferred).
• Experience with HPLC and GC is a plus.

Pay

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour.
