Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the project-specific QA/QC program and quality management strategy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters and provide guidance on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
- Partner with project leadership, design disciplines, construction teams, contractors, and clients to establish and maintain project quality objectives.
- Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection and testing procedures, audit protocols, checklists, and documentation requirements.
- Oversee inspections, audits, surveillances, testing activities, and quality reviews to verify compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
- Identify quality risks and deficiencies, perform or oversee root-cause analysis, and manage nonconformance and corrective-action processes through resolution.
- Monitor quality performance and establish metrics and reporting to communicate trends, risks, deficiencies, and corrective actions to project leadership.
- Ensure that project quality records, inspection and testing documentation, and turnover packages remain complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
- Lead and mentor quality personnel while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the project team.
- Integrate quality requirements into project schedules, staffing plans, budgets, and overall execution strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and sound judgment on complex quality issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, quality management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of related quality, engineering, construction, or project management experience, preferably supporting large, complex construction programs.
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing QA/QC programs and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience supporting mission-critical, data center, advanced technology, healthcare, industrial, or other technically complex projects is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality processes, including inspections, testing, nonconformance management, corrective actions, documentation, and applicable codes and industry standards.
- Proven ability to identify quality risks, resolve complex issues, and drive corrective actions to completion.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor teams and influence quality performance across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage field personnel, technical teams, clients, contractors, and senior leadership.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant quality certifications or experience with standards such as ISO 9001, ASQ certifications, or similar industry-recognized credentials are preferred.
Pay
Compensation Range: $132,708.77 - $151,667.16
