QA Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies for secure, high-performing web applications.
• Analyze system requirements to create detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Document, track, and manage software defects through their lifecycle using tools like Jira or Azure Boards.
• Verify system compliance with accessibility standards (Section 508 and WCAG requirements).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional software quality assurance and testing experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and executing automated test scripts for enterprise-scale web applications.
• Proven experience testing single-page applications (SPAs) built with React or Angular and .NET or Java backends.
• Proficient with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API testing, JSON, web services, and SQL queries for database validation.
• Active DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (or higher) or willingness to obtain (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
• Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a Public Trust or Favorably Adjudicated Secret Clearance.
