QA Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases. Execute automated and manual test cycles, document results, and log defects in the tracking system. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot test failures. Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, daily standups, and other Agile team activities. Report test coverage, testing outcomes, and quality metrics to project leadership.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
• Expertise with Copado Robotics for specific test automation
• Experience developing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
• Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages used for test automation
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
