QA Test Automation Analyst

Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and support automated test coverage for web applications using Playwright.
• Perform testing across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios to confirm application stability.
• Investigate issues, record defects clearly, and follow them through resolution with the appropriate teams.
• Embed automated test execution into continuous integration and delivery workflows to improve release confidence.
• Work closely with developers, product stakeholders, and QA partners to raise quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Verify system behavior in hosted environments to ensure applications operate as expected under real deployment conditions.
• Contribute to API validation efforts and help confirm reliable communication between application components.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building automated tests with Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript for test development and maintenance.
• Background in API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
• Understanding of relational databases and the ability to work with data validation needs.
• Familiarity with source control practices and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery methods and collaborative software development environments.
• Experience in quality assurance testing for modern applications.
• Exposure to tools such as Jira, Xray, Docker, microservices, cloud-native systems, or performance testing is a plus.
