QA TEST ANALYST - MANUAL & AUTOMATION

Client: Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) – Hartford, CT
Work Model: Hybrid (1 day/week onsite)

About the role

Seeking a highly experienced QA Test Analyst with 12+ years of QA experience and strong expertise in Manual & Automation Testing. The candidate must have professional working proficiency in English and Spanish and will be responsible for validating Spanish-language application functionality, content, correspondence, notices, workflows, and resident-facing communications.

• 12+ years of QA / Software Testing experience
• Strong Manual + Automation Testing
• Spanish & English bilingual proficiency (mandatory)
• Independent visa work authorization only (no H-1B)
• Local candidates preferred; non-local candidates must be willing to relocate to Connecticut before onsite work begins

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual and automated testing across enterprise applications
• Validate Spanish-language functionality and resident-facing content
• Compare Spanish content against approved English requirements
• Test Spanish screens, forms, notices, messages, labels, instructions, and workflows
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and automation scripts
• Perform API, database, integration, regression, SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing
• Validate backend data using SQL
• Identify, document, prioritize, and retest software defects
• Participate in defect triage, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
• Maintain requirements traceability and testing documentation
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders
