QA Technician I

About the role

This is a 2nd shift position working Monday - Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM. Additional hours may be required based on the needs of the organization and/or department.

Responsibilities

• Respond to quality events, complete related documentation, and determine immediate physical containment and remediation.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and containing defects.
• Conduct ASP’s and manage the rework process, including providing rework instructions.
• Review documentation as necessary.
• Perform auditing of Perrigo manufacturing and packaging processes to ensure compliance with applicable cGMP requirements.
• Understand equipment operation and manufacturing/packaging processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required; preference given to those with advanced education (2-year or 4-year degree, or progress toward a degree).
• Minimum of 6 months experience working in an FDA regulated industry is required; 2 years is preferred.
• Understanding of and ability to apply cGMPs.
• Working knowledge of SOPs and ability to provide clear direction and interpretation.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently against multiple deadlines.
