About the role
This is a 2nd shift position working Monday - Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM. Additional hours may be required based on the needs of the organization and/or department.
Responsibilities
- Respond to quality events, complete related documentation, and determine immediate physical containment and remediation.
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and containing defects.
- Conduct ASP’s and manage the rework process, including providing rework instructions.
- Review documentation as necessary.
- Perform auditing of Perrigo manufacturing and packaging processes to ensure compliance with applicable cGMP requirements.
- Understand equipment operation and manufacturing/packaging processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required; preference given to those with advanced education (2-year or 4-year degree, or progress toward a degree).
- Minimum of 6 months experience working in an FDA regulated industry is required; 2 years is preferred.
- Understanding of and ability to apply cGMPs.
- Working knowledge of SOPs and ability to provide clear direction and interpretation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently against multiple deadlines.
