QA Technician (Bacteriologist)

Responsibilities

• Collects, tests, and analyzes environmental and finished product samples.
• Acts as the final QA step of release for non-hold product, executing product release in SAP, and post testing.
• Reviews and updates sanitation practices.
• Initiates corrective action processes for out-of-specification results.
• Maintains Internal Control Plan, including maintenance and verification of lab equipment, calibrations, and hygienic lab conditions.
• Effectively works with interdepartmental personnel to maintain a good flow of safety, quality, and production information throughout the plant.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field and 1+ years of quality or laboratory experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
• OR High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and 3+ years of quality or laboratory experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

Pay

$44,038.80 to $63,464.00 per year. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range.
