QA Technician

Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team in Vacaville, CA. In this role, you will work closely with the Quality and Production departments to ensure products are safe, compliant with regulations, and meet company quality standards.

Schedule

• Day shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (start time may be as early as 4:00 AM)
• Monday through Friday
• Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed

Pay

$19.00 – $22.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce a safe work environment and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Test products for quality standards including dimensions, weight, temperature, and color
• Conduct inspections and complete daily QA documentation and reports
• Immediately document, communicate, and assist with corrective actions for any deficiencies identified
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to maintain compliance and product consistency
• Perform analysis using lab equipment

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a lab or quality assurance environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes consistently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic to intermediate computer and math skills
• Ability to read and write in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous food manufacturing or QA experience
• Experience working in a production environment
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
