Responsibilities

Product & Process Verification

• Knows ALPLA bottle terminology
• Conducts bottle testing and understands customer specifications
• Performs routine quality checks
• Completes equipment verifications
• Performs line clearance process

Quality Systems & Documentation

• Can properly complete paperwork and standards (basic)
• Navigates document management system
• Understands IMS basics
• Understands OPEX basics
• Can complete COA review and preparation

Data Management and Analytical Tools

• Understands CAQ basics
• Understands statistics basic and/or intermediate as required by location

Nonconforming Product & Problem Solving

• Manages internal and external defective products
• Understands AQL and sampling plans
• Understands problem solving basics
• Participates in RCAs

Performance Metrics

• On-time completion of assigned training
• Pass Gauge R&R evaluations
• Acceptable performance on data integrity audits
• Departmental goals as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience with physical lab testing equipment, preferred
• Skills: Computer basics, passing ALPLA assessment scores, ability to work well with others, good decision making with minimal supervision, ability to multi-task, good organizational skills

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and very occasionally to climb or balance
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
• Occasionally required to sit
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision
• Required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA)
