About the role

The Quality (QA/QC) Manager at Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is responsible for ensuring adherence to quality expectations in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. This role involves conducting jobsite and facility visitations, inspections, and assessments, as well as performing audits to identify areas of concern and taking appropriate corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Conducts jobsite and facility visitations, inspections, and assessments to ensure adherence to quality expectations in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conducts and supports QA/QC orientations, progress update meetings, and related QA/QC trainings.
• Performs audits to identify areas of concern and take appropriate corrective actions independently, while documenting all findings.
• Understands and applies appropriate industry-specific standards and establishes working relationships with Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. project team members, customers, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• QA/QC experience in construction, with a preference for a Heavy Civil background.
• 5+ years of Heavy Civil/Industrial experience.
• Extensive travel (75% or more).
• QA/QC Certification in ISO or the American Society for Quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.
