QA/QC Manager

About the role

Suffolk is seeking a Construction QA/QC Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for implementing and managing quality control plans to ensure compliance with specifications, plans, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Corporate Quality Management Program
• Expand and develop standard operating procedures and processes for quality assurance
• Create project-specific Quality Management Plans and ensure their implementation
• Develop and update comprehensive training curriculum for all field operations and subcontractors
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
• Represent Suffolk with clients, trade partners, and project team members
• Manage a team of Quality Managers and professionals
• Conduct random site evaluations and follow-up evaluations
• Create mechanisms for sharing best practices and addressing quality issues
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in construction fields
• Proficient with computer software used in construction
• Working knowledge of national and state codes and quality regulations
