About the role
As QA/QC Coordinator you will work with the QA Lead to ensure Jamison Products maintains the highest level of quality. Jamison Products specializes in engineered filtration, straining, and pipeline equipment for oil & gas, LNG, municipal water, and industrial markets, and is part of the Allied Reliability company. Your responsibilities will span inspection of produced items, reviewing test results, maintaining records, and assisting with warehousing of materials.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior QA/QC staff to support inspection requirements of the business.
- Witness vendor testing and provide oversight.
- Work independently to verify quality standards are maintained.
- Produce documentation for clients including quality certifications and data books to accompany product.
- Assist in investigating quality issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and operations teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area consistent with quality and safety standards.
- Perform other quality assurance and quality control duties as assigned.
- Ensure specifications, codes, and customer requirements are met consistently.
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and unloading incoming shipments.
- Accurately verify quantities and product information against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations following established procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Complete required reports and documents.
- Ensure that all work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Performance Measurements
- QA/QC: Inspection Accuracy, Continuous Improvement
- Warehouse: Maintain inventory accuracy, Operational Execution, Procedure Compliance Rate
- Organization: Safety Compliance (Zero preventable safety violations)
- Attendance & Reliability: Meet company attendance standards
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Positive feedback from Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service teams
- Knowledge Sharing & Training Support: Participation in employee training and quality awareness programs
- Maintain the company’s professional reputation and service excellence
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Quality: Inspection Accuracy >98%, Continuous Improvement: Minimum of 2-4 improvement initiatives annually
- Warehouse: Project delivery on time, in full within quoted period; delivery of data to clients within specified window; maintain inventory accuracy and minimize errors >95%; compliance with established Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Team Support: Response to colleague request for support
- Job Performance: Compliance with all procedures and requirements: 100%
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent preferred
- Understanding of industrial products preferred
- 2+ years of Quality Control or Quality Management experience preferred
