About the role
The QA/QC Commissioning Associate III assists in quality control and quality assurance of data center critical systems preparing for the commissioning process. The role supports the QA/QC Engineer in ensuring correct equipment purchase and installation compliance with industry standards and equipment specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop QA/QC documents including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, and site observations.
- Review materials at the site for compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Avoidance of non-conformities through collaboration with contractors and suppliers.
- Support the effective implementation of test and inspection schedules, coordinating with various teams for quality audits.
- Manage lifting and handling of equipment, and maintain records for hazardous materials.
- Perform quality audits as per schedule, understand all products, and evaluate documents for optimal quality.
- Prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance, analyze processes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Technical military MOS, trade school, or degree in complex facilities or mission-critical projects is preferred.
- Civilian or military technical certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5-9 years of inspection and/or production experience.
- Strong working knowledge of test equipment and software.
- Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Microsoft Project.
- Basic knowledge of systems design for various projects.
- Any civilian or military technical certifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be able to travel 75%-80%.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
