Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of industrial electronic components and automation equipment prior to certification.
- Document inspection findings accurately using internal quality management systems and databases, flagging items that do not meet established quality standards.
- Collaborate with repair technicians and quality engineers to communicate defects and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist in the development and refinement of quality inspection procedures and checklists, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA department.
- Properly handle, label, and track all components throughout the precertification process.
- Operate testing equipment and tools to verify the operational status of components (as needed).
Required Skills
- Ability to perform visual and functional inspections of industrial electronic components
- Familiarity with industrial automation equipment such as PLCs, servo drives, motors, and sensors
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Proficiency in using quality management systems and databases for recording inspection results
- Basic understanding of quality assurance principles and inspection methodologies
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and component datasheets
- Competency in operating standard testing and measurement equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of safety protocols and proper handling of electronic components
- Ability to follow established procedures and checklists with precision
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues
Required Experience
- Prior experience in a quality assurance, quality control, or inspection role preferred
- Experience working with industrial electronic components or automation equipment is a plus
- Background in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related technical field
- Experience using quality management or inventory tracking software systems
- Hands-on experience with testing and diagnostic equipment for electronic components
- Experience documenting inspection findings and maintaining accurate quality records
- Familiarity with manufacturing or repair facility environments
- Experience following standardized inspection procedures and quality checklists
- Any experience with continuous improvement processes or lean manufacturing principles is beneficial
Pay
A starting salary of $18.00 per hour on an annual basis, with opportunities for growth and advancement within Radwell Internationals dynamic and supportive work environment.
