QA Manager (Remote)

About the role

The Manager, QA role is within the Global Digital and Technology organization, focusing on mobile applications used by Hyatt Guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take a direct hand in the performance of the team as a whole and developing quality assurance standards and measures for IT services.
• Write and review manual test plans and scripts for validating defects and fixes in product development, software, and operations systems.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to validate IT processes through manual testing and build automation strategies.
• Deliver software to production early and often with highly reliable procedures.
• Participate in a team passionate about Hyatt's purpose, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills, and building connections across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing and manually testing database-driven, native mobile apps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins.
• Experience in Agile environments and manual testing methodologies and practices.
• Strong preference for strong Agile experience and mobile application testing experience.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $98,600 - $128,000. Final pay rate/salary offered will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
