QA Manager
Job Description
Plan and coordinate work within the QA Department/Areas, including internal audits, out-of-box audits, vendor audits, final inspections, and incoming inspections.
Maintains efficient staging and flow of material, assemblies, parts, and paperwork throughout the QA.
Manages all quality issues from the customer, supplier, and quality management system.
Sets up a system to supervise and evaluate the manpower in charge for the growing QA department.
Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analysis, identifying critical control points and preventive measures, establishing critical limits and verification procedures, and monitoring inventories.
Makes a training and retraining program for employees. Analyzes training needs and schedules required training and performs training where appropriate.
Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors to ensure production and quality goals are met.
Conducts training to build quality awareness.
Skills and Abilities
- Good English skills (listening, speaking, writing, reading).
- Excellent computer skills (Including, but not limited to: Windows, Office, Visio, Project Manager, Internet).
- Ability to work flexibly and under high pressure.
- Strong quality management skills.
- Strong communication skills - listening, verbal, written and presentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 standards.
- Knowledge of full production processes (from Incoming to Packing process).
