QA Manager

About the role

Furlani Foods is seeking a QA Manager to provide expertise for product quality management and food safety systems to ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are developed, projects are completed, and issues are resolved, all with a focus on effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assess the effectiveness of food safety and quality policies/programs (SQF, FDA, Food Safety and Quality).
• Coordinate the development and delivery of quality and food safety training programs for plant management and personnel.
• Lead external regulatory or customer food safety audits. Coordinate corrective action to identified deficiencies and provide effective and timely resolutions.
• Review, analyze, and react to production floor operational data and QA product tests. Use statistical tools to optimize the process.
• Provide expertise to plant management in current good manufacturing practice (cGMPs), sanitary design, and sanitation practices.
• Manage all employees of the department.
