About the Role

UST is searching for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Lead to lead quality assurance initiatives across enterprise applications and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers
• Define test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance processes for projects and releases
• Review business and functional requirements to ensure testability and coverage
• Coordinate functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing activities
• Oversee test execution, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution management
• Drive test automation initiatives to improve efficiency and coverage
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and best practices
• Collaborate with development, product, business, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC
• Monitor and report testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness
• Support release planning, production validation, and post-release quality activities
• Manage defect resolution and quality issue escalations
• Establish and maintain testing documentation and best practice guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
• 2+ years of experience in a QA Lead or Test Lead role
• Proven track record managing QA teams and delivering quality assurance initiatives across enterprise applications

Skills

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Expertise with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools: Jira
• Hands-on experience in test automation using: Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with: Defect management, Test planning, Test execution, Root cause analysis
• Advanced experience with multiple testing types: Functional testing, Integration testing, API testing, Regression testing, Performance testing, User acceptance testing (UAT)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with release governance and production validation

Pay

Compensation range: $68,000-$102,000 (Role Location: Remote - US)

• Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
