About the role

The QA Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process for Skydance Games’ interactive projects. This includes ensuring all games meet high standards of functionality, performance, and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire QA process from planning to execution.
  • Develop and maintain QA test plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve bugs and issues.
  • Conduct regular testing sessions and provide feedback to developers.
  • Document test results and track bug fixes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in QA roles, preferably within the gaming industry.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of QA testers.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of game development lifecycle and industry standards.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of database management systems.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule

The QA Lead will work a standard full-time schedule, typically 40 hours per week, with occasional evening and weekend work required for project deadlines.
