QA / Knowledge - Sharing Lead

About the Role

Owns report quality control and leads required knowledge-sharing sessions—detailed, step-by-step dissections of attack methodology, key learnings, and live demonstrations—with each department's technical team.

Responsibilities

• Review all assessment, gap, and risk reports for technical accuracy and consistency before submission.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and live demonstrations of exploitation techniques for department technical teams and the County CISO or designee.
• Maintain a documented library of tools used (commercial, proprietary, or open source) across all engagements.
• Support the Project Manager in resolving technical disputes raised during clarification requests.

Requirements

• 7+ years in penetration testing or security assessment with demonstrated report-writing and QA experience.
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear, non-technical explanations for department stakeholders.
• Experience presenting technical findings to mixed technical/executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSCP, GPEN, or similar hands-on offensive security certification.
• Prior experience training internal IT/security staff post-assessment.

Travel

Periodic onsite travel to San Bernardino, Colton, Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, and Victorville for live demonstration sessions; primarily hybrid otherwise.
