QA Engineer, Jr.

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our fully remote team, primarily serving clients across the Pacific Time Zone in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving automated tests that ensure the highest quality standards for our customers' software products. You will play a vital part in delivering an exceptional customer experience by identifying issues early, streamlining testing processes, and collaborating closely with development teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS
• Experience using Chrome DevTools for debugging and reproducing failures
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple customer accounts
• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Proven ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Experience or interest in improving tooling and QA best practices
• Legal authorization to work in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or Australia (without employer sponsorship)
• Able to work approximately 40 hours per week during standard business hours (e.g., Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm in your time zone)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated tests
• Utilize Chrome DevTools and other debugging tools to identify and reproduce issues
• Proactively communicate findings and progress to team members and stakeholders
• Stay organized while managing multiple client projects simultaneously
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling, and best practices
• Participate in the onboarding and training of new team members as needed
• Engage in the hiring process, including completing take-home coding challenges and participating in work sessions
