QA Engineer | Credit Union + Symitar

About the role

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of critical financial applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging Azure DevOps for test management.

Responsibilities

• Conducts functional testing of software applications
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and reliability of financial applications
• Leverages Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management, defect tracking, and related QA activities
• Works independently and contributes effectively within a team environment

Requirements

• Strong experience with functional testing of software applications
• Experience working within financial services, preferably supporting credit unions and core banking platforms
• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management, defect tracking, and related QA activities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience testing core banking systems, loan origination platforms, digital banking applications, and credit union technology solutions
• Familiarity with banking platforms such as Symitar (preferred), Fiserv, Correlation, and other core banking solutions
• Exposure to test automation tools or automation testing practices
• Experience with ADO or similar ALM/test management platforms
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for test data management, analysis, and reporting
• Prior experience in credit union environments
