Salary Range: $115,000–$130,000 Annually

About the role
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer - Automation to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. In this role you will be a key contributor to engineering quality, partnering with development teams to expand test coverage, embed automation into CI/CD pipelines, and accelerate confident software delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks with a clear understanding of testing strategy, including risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing in Agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems
- Partner with development teams to expand test coverage and embed automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Accelerate confident software delivery through robust automation and testing strategies
- Apply testing methodologies including risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing in Agile environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Four or more years of QA automation experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Hands-on experience automating REST APIs
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Solid SQL skills for data validation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)
- Knowledge of containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
- Exposure to behavior-driven development frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
- Familiarity with security testing fundamentals (OWASP, basic penetration testing)
Pay
$115,000–$130,000 Annually
