About the Role
We are seeking a QE Engineer to focus on MCP Tools and REST API Automation in a hybrid onsite capacity in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for MCP tools, servers, and AI agent integrations.
- Automate REST API testing using frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, or similar.
- Perform API validation, request/response verification, and contract testing.
- Develop and execute test cases, track defects, and conduct regression and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Debug and analyze test failures, providing clear and actionable feedback.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience testing Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools, servers, or AI agent integrations.
- Strong experience in automating REST APIs using tools/frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, or similar.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Good understanding of MCP architecture, tool invocation, prompts, resources, and client-server interactions.
- Experience with test case design, defect tracking, regression testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience using Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
