About the role
Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials products.
Responsibilities
- Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality meets customer requirements and government regulations.
- Review and inspect products for compliance with specifications and standards.
- Create non-conformance reports when necessary.
- Manage and maintain documentation related to product quality processes.
- Work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project goals.
- Ensure adherence to environmental safety and handling protocols during production and repair processes.
- Use tools such as microscopes, calipers, and office equipment like MS Office scanners, printers, and copiers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technology field.
- 4-6+ years of relevant engineering/technical experience or 8-10+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings, prints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Clear, concise, and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.
- Experience with client software and data management programs.
