About the role
The QA/Cx Site Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring Rosendin delivers high-quality projects to its customers. This position oversees the quality and commissioning plans, manages teams, and ensures compliance with project scopes and designs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project-specific quality and commissioning plans.
- Lead the execution and management of these plans to ensure adherence throughout the project duration.
- Support Project Management with quality and commissioning-related documentation and final packages.
- Create and maintain an internal project schedule aligned with key milestones for successful delivery.
- Coordinate and supervise quality, vendor, and commissioning activities, ensuring they meet project milestones.
- Review and verify project equipment and material specifications, BOMs, submittals for accuracy and consistency with project scope and design requirements.
- Ensure only approved equipment and materials are installed and complete required receiving and installation inspection checklists and test documentation.
- Coordinate inspection requests and work with AHJs, GCs, and Owners to ensure all required inspections are completed, approved, and documented.
- Create and oversee site-specific equipment startup documentation, such as MOPs and SBSs.
- Assist with testing and start-up activities, reviewing and analyzing quality data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Communicate QA/Cx program feedback and project lessons to the QA/Cx Regional Manager.
Requirements
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician with General Foreman and Foreman experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality and commissioning activities in the electrical industry.
- OSHA 30 & NFPA 70E training preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up skills.
- Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage and mentor others.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented personality.
- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient in Autodesk Construction Cloud and quality software programs like Cx Alloy, Prolog, etc.
- Ability to manage and mentor others.
