QA Automation Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end API Test Automation initiatives using tools/frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in testing APIs, validating request/response payloads, authentication mechanisms, integrations, and backend data using SQL.
• Ability to define automation strategy, develop reusable automation frameworks, review test scripts, and drive automation coverage across Agile releases.
• Hands-on experience with defect management, test planning, JIRA tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication across business and technology teams.
• Proven leadership experience managing QA teams, mentoring automation engineers, estimating testing efforts, and ensuring quality deliverables in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Generic managerial skills including customer management, reporting, and defect management.

Skills

• Primary skill: API Automation Lead
• Preferred skills: API, JIRA, SOAP, Postman
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools/frameworks: Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, Selenium, and similar.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in API test automation and leadership.

Pay

Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 a year
