QA Automation Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Testing professional with 15-18+ years of experience to interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and execute automation code using IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Perform automation testing for browser-based web applications using Selenium
• Monitor and maintain problem logs, and report issues
• Understand data flow between multiple applications
• Apply best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
• Work within agile/scrum methodology and understand QA’s role in it

Requirements

• 15-18+ years of experience in software testing
• Hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium
• Strong knowledge of Java
• Experience with Jenkins jobs
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Proficiency in understanding agile/scrum methodology
• Good communication skills

• Spring framework (nice to have)
• Headless development (nice to have)
• Database knowledge (nice to have)
• API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or ReadyAPI (nice to have)
