About the Role
We are seeking a QA Automation Lead with 6-8 years' experience in software testing to interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards. This role is based in Dallas, TX and is remote for a duration of 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and execute automation code using IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ.
- Perform automation testing for browser-based web applications using Selenium.
- Monitor and maintain problem logs, and report issues.
- Understand data flow between multiple applications and ensure effective communication.
- Apply best practices for testing, version control, and defect management.
- Operate within agile/scrum methodology, understanding QA's role in the process.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium.
- Proficiency in Java and experience with automation code development.
- Knowledge of Jenkins jobs.
- Deep understanding of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodology.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to the Spring framework.
- Knowledge of headless development and databases.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or ReadyAPI.
