QA and Subcontractor Coordinator
About the role
Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Quality Assurance & Subcontractor Coordinator to join our team at the new Multi-Dimensional Anti-Recidivism Partnership (MAP) in West Valley, CA. MAP is an innovative program focused on community engagement and rehabilitative programming for justice-involved individuals, promoting long-term, self-sustaining skills through vocational training and personal development services. This role assists the Program Director in managing quality assurance for program services and operations, as well as sub-contractors, ensuring community safety and effective program operation.
The Quality Assurance and Sub-Contractor Coordinator oversees and ensures the quality of work performed by program staff and sub-contractors, collaborating with project managers, sub-contractors, and internal teams to guarantee projects are completed with fidelity, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. This role assumes duties in the absence of the Program Director.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the selection of sub-contractors based on qualifications, experience, and ability to meet project requirements.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of sub-contractors' performance, including quality of work, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with contracts.
- Develop quality assurance plans and procedures for each project, outlining specific quality benchmarks and criteria.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate quality assurance into project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor internal program operations for compliance with Agency policy, applicable standards, and relevant contractual policy; develop measures to address deficiencies.
- Monitor and inspect sub-contractors' work to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report quality issues or deviations, and work with sub-contractors to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive records of quality assessments, inspections, and non-conformities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to project stakeholders and management.
- Foster open and effective communication between sub-contractors, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sub-contractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices to enhance overall project quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to sub-contractor performance and quality.
- Develop contingency plans for addressing unexpected quality issues.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience in the social service or criminal justice field. Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one-year-for-one-year basis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Criminal Justice Evidence-Based Practices.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, project management, or a related role.
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (subject to change based on program needs).
Pay
Hourly rate: $32.00 per hour.
