QA Analyst Salesforce
About the role
Babel is seeking a QA Analyst Salesforce with functional quality assurance experience and end-to-end testing on solutions implemented in Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud. The position will ensure that developments, configurations, automations, and integrations meet acceptance criteria, business rules, and defined project quality standards throughout the testing cycle.
Responsibilities
- Participate in user story refinement related to Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
- Review and validate user story acceptance criteria definitions.
- Create test cases, test sets, and test executions based on user stories.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests on Salesforce.
- Validate that developments/configurations comply with functional design, data model, business rules, and defined project flows.
- Report found bugs, indicating severity, priority, reproduction steps, and evidence.
- Support UAT with business users.
- Generate test scenarios according to established acceptance criteria.
- Prepare or request test data to validate different functional scenarios.
- Validate Case creation, updates, assignments, and closures in Service Cloud.
- Validate Opportunity management in Sales Cloud as required.
- Validate relationships between Account, Contact, Case, Opportunity, and Supplier according to the defined data model.
- Validate Record Types, Page Layouts, mandatory fields, visibility rules, and field dependencies in Salesforce.
- Validate declarative automation validations such as Flows, Validation Rules, Assignment Rules, Email Alerts, and field update automations.
- Validate profiles, permission sets, queues, roles, and access according to the defined security matrix.
- Execute integration tests when Salesforce interacts with forms, APIs, middleware, DocuSign, ServiceNow, or other related systems.
- Document test evidence clearly, traceably, and reusable.
- Execute regression tests to ensure new changes do not affect existing functionalities.
- Validate operational tracking reports and dashboards related to case progress, opportunities, SLA, and process traceability.
- Confirm that each user story meets its Definition of Done before moving to UAT or closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of functional QA experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working on projects involving Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Experience in transformational digital projects, CRM, or Salesforce implementation.
- Experience working under agile methodologies like Scrum.
- Experience refining user stories and validating acceptance criteria.
- Experience designing and executing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Experience creating test cases, test sets, and test executions.
- Ability to document test evidence clearly, traceably, and reusably.
- Experience managing defects, reporting severity, priority, reproduction steps, and evidence.
- Fluent in English (B2+).
- High analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with technical teams and business users.
Qualifications
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Jira Xray for testing management, planning, and execution.
- Experience using Salesforce Sandbox and Lightning Experience.
- Experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Experience validating functional configurations in Salesforce, including record types, page layouts, mandatory fields, visibility rules, and field dependencies.
- Experience validating processes related to Cases, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, and their relationship with the Salesforce data model.
- Experience validating declarative automations such as Flows, Validation Rules, Assignment Rules, Email Alerts, and field update automations.
- Experience validating profiles, permission sets, roles, queues, and access according to the security matrix.
- Experience executing integration tests when Salesforce interacts with forms, APIs, middleware, DocuSign, ServiceNow, or other related systems.
- Experience using API testing tools such as API Lifecycle or equivalent.
- Experience validating Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- Experience using Excel or Google Sheets for test matrix creation, evidence management, and result tracking.
- Experience using Data Loader for data loading and validation.
- Experience using Postman for basic API testing.
- Experience using Git or GitHub for accessing technical documentation and project artifacts.
