About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our Privileged Endpoint Device Management (PEDM) team. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility with a hybrid schedule option for candidates located in the El Dorado Hills, CA, or Chicago, IL metro areas. As a QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in validating the integrity, performance, and security of Keeper’s enterprise-grade privileged data management systems. This role is ideal for an entry-level professional eager to grow within a fast-paced, innovative cybersecurity environment, with a strong focus on quality assurance and security standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing across PEDM services and interfaces, including OS administration, API responses, backend workflows, and security configurations
- Design, document, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Perform integration, functional, and regression testing on new features, system updates, and third-party integrations
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand technical requirements and use cases
- Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira, providing clear reproduction steps and detailed reports
- Assist in establishing QA best practices for enterprise systems, including data integrity checks and role-based access verifications
- Participate in discussions around QA automation strategies and contribute to expanding automated test coverage where applicable
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes to enhance product quality and security
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for software quality assurance
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac administration
- Understanding of file and directory permissions
- Knowledge of Active Directory and group policy management
- Experience with Azure Domain Services and Intune deployment methodologies
- Foundational knowledge of QA methodologies including functional, integration, and system testing
- Basic familiarity with backend systems, logs, and cloud architectures (AWS knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to clearly document and communicate test results and bugs
- Proficiency with Jira or similar bug tracking tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially in remote team environments
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) due to involvement in GovCloud projects
