About the role

Testing client’s suite of connected digital products and mobile IoT applications & services, in parallel with client and Acura brand vehicles, across multiple projects in-development and currently maintained in-market.

Responsibilities

• Testing client’s suite of connected digital products and mobile IoT applications & services, in parallel with client and Acura brand vehicles, across multiple projects in-development and currently maintained in-market.
• Strong customer-focused mindset
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall software methodologies
• Experience testing mobile applications - iOS and Android
• Testing within a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline
• Experience with Atlassian suite of defect tracking and management tools (Jira / Confluence)
• Project and testing support experience in the automotive industry
• Telematics / connected vehicle or consumer electronics embedded software / IoT testing experience
• Technical skills and problem-solving ability
• Prior experience working with cross-functional teams - across regions
• Prior experience with Database (DB) SELECT queries - SQL or MSSQL
• Prior experience with API Testing using Postman or SoapUI
• Continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline - or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software testing experience
• 5+ years of system / data analysis experience
• 5+ years of project and testing support experience in the automotive industry
• 3+ years of telematics / connected vehicle or consumer electronics embedded software / IoT testing experience

• Prior experience working with cross-functional teams - across regions
• Prior experience with Database (DB) SELECT queries - SQL or MSSQL
• Prior experience with API Testing using Postman or SoapUI
