About The Role
We are currently seeking a talented Data Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team in New York City. This role offers a hybrid or remote work environment, providing flexibility to the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data quality or data governance projects within financial institutions
- Strong proficiency in SQL or similar query languages for data extraction, analysis, and validation
- Good understanding of CIB / SCIB environments and related business domains such as Banking, Markets, Risk, and GTB
- Familiarity with key banking systems such as Loan IQ, Murex, Calypso, JQUEST, Aqua+, or similar platforms
- Experience working with data quality tooling, preferably DaQua / Data Tooling
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including leading workshops and meetings with business users
- Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and solution-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into effective data quality controls focusing on completeness, coherence, and consistency
- Design, implement, and maintain data quality controls within the central Data Tooling platform (DaQua)
- Identify and validate appropriate data sources, tables, and data fields to ensure control scope accuracy
- Monitor control execution, analyze data quality issues, and coordinate remediation efforts with business and IT teams
- Collaborate closely with business users, data owners, and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure alignment on data quality objectives
- Lead workshops and working sessions to facilitate stakeholder understanding and consensus on data quality topics
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of data quality processes and standards across CIB domains
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality controls, issues, and remediation actions
